Sisyphus Sheet Music
Sheet music for Sophie Olivia's solo piano composition, "Sisyphus".
The story of Sisyphus, who was condemned to eternally push a boulder up a hill only to see it roll back down just before reaching the top, mirrors my own journey with battling chronic fatigue & migraines. I’d experience hopeful moments of improving health followed by devastating crashes that left me feeling stuck in a never ending, exasperating cycle.
Writing Sisyphus helped me to grieve the life I lost, find acceptance, and summon the courage to keep moving forward. My hope is that, if you also find yourself in a seemingly never ending cycle, this piece will will provide catharsis, and help you to discover strength and hope in your own journey
