The title is inspired by the Greek myth of Sisyphus, who was condemned for eternity to push a heavy boulder up a steep mountain, only for it to roll back down before ever reaching the top

This is precisely how I felt during the relentless cycle of recovering from chronic fatigue & migraines over the last 6 years. I’d gain momentum, think I was almost recovered, only to be met with another devastating crash.

Despite ultimately believing I will eventually make a full recovery, there remains part of me that wonders if I'll ever reach the top again.
So, for anyone who feels stuck in a seemingly never-ending cycle, this is for you. Holding onto hope can be exhausting and my aim is, just as this piece has done for me, it helps you find the strength to keep fighting and finally break free.
